Frankenstein follows the story of a young scientist who tries his hand at God and, to his misfortune, has to deal with the consequences. Victor Frankenstein is a promising young scientist in the field of chemistry, until he creates life in an inanimate body and the Creature he makes wreaks havoc on all he holds dear. Between the several characteristics and journeys undertaken in Frankenstein, there are distinctive elements that can be contrasted which enhance the importance of themes within the novel.
